As a recording/mix engineer, writer and producer primarily, Skadot is the RnB alias of Scott L. Andrews. Having written with and for some of very accomplished artist in the early 2000's such as Joe Thomas, Babyface, and others, Skadot was exposed to the music industry at a high level at an early age. The name "Skadot" was given to him by Joe during the time that he was working as his engineer during the recording of the multiplatinum selling album "My Name is Joe". Skadot did not initially plan to be a recording artist, but it almost seemed to be the natural progression after starting an entertainment company "Platinum Unity Entertainment". During that time he had written, produced and/or recorded many demos. The experience helped to prepare him to eventually release his debut album as a singer/songwriter.
